In honor of Seattle Startup Week, we have some amazing guests who going to share the stories of the hustle and tears that they put into building hardware startups in Seattle.

SPEAKERS:

Christina Cyr - Co-Founder, CTO & CEO - dToor

dTOOR makes “Non-Rectangular Phones for Non-Rectangular People” starting with a phone in the shape of a circle, called The Cyrcle Phone. dTOOR had a successful Kickstarter campaign in September 2016 with a 2G prototype of The Cyrcle Phone, and delivered all rewards (phones, classes, t-shirts, etc.) to backers within 60 days. Christina has degrees in biochemistry and physics, a master’s in engineering, and an unrelenting passion for electronics.

Filipp Shpomer - Co-Founder and CTO - Strive Tech

Filipp's biggest interests have always been physics and computer science. After a few years in industrial automation and many years as a software engineer at Microsoft, he returned to the world of electronics by cofounding athletic wearable company Strive Tech, where his role is to design and build the electronics that collects biosensor information about the athlete.
