Techstars Startup Week Seattle 2018

In what promises to be a brand new Startup Week tradition, five lucky would-be entrepreneurs were selected to pitch at our closing party. But these aren’t real companies yet - they are ideas! And with help from the Female Founders Alliance, together with Seattle’s top pitch coaches, these entrepreneurs had a chance to develop their idea, flesh out their story, practice their pitch, and get on a real stage. Join us for the capstone presentation to cheer on Seattle’s future startup founders as they go on stage and share their vision for the very first time.  


For applicants:
Have a great idea for a startup? Seattle Startup Week is offering five “Future Founders” the opportunity to take the stage at the week’s capstone event “Future Founder Friday”. You’ll get private time with Seattle’s leading pitch coaches, including Christina Brennan, Wendy Yang and Teddy Johnson. Plus you’ll get support from the founders and CEOs of the Female Founders Alliance, Seattle’s grittiest and most promising new entrepreneurs. Finally, you’ll have an opportunity to pitch your idea at the Startup Week closing party stage in front of an audience of your peers, get real investor feedback, and compete for bragging rights. There is no cost to participate, and everyone with an idea is encouraged to apply - whether or not it’s a real business yet!*

*To apply, your idea must be fleshed out enough for you to prepare and memorize a 5 minute pitch script. You also commit to participating in the coaching sessions on (date and time), and the pitching event on (date and time)
