Alex Brooks is a Detroit native and the founder of Entreprov, a Seattle based software company that builds tools to help companies increase customer retention and drive revenue. He’s also the founder of Data Science in Action- a monthly meetup based in lower Queen Anne. Alex started his entrepreneurial career at the age of ten by launching a landscaping company. Despite experiencing homelessness and growing up in the inner city of Detroit, Alex managed to make his way through college. Since then he’s been involved in wide range of endeavors from the Chamber of Commerce to being a part of several tech startups in Seattle. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, getting lost in nature. traveling to different parts of the world and learning about new culture.
