David is an engineer/designer/CEO with 15 years of experience across multiple startups, and the cofounder of Converge, a Techstars company focused on drones for building inspection. David started his first company during college, and within a year it had grown to multiple offices on two continents. He's also worked as the initial product designer for two YC companies (acquired by Yahoo and Dropbox), and was cofounder of another acquired startup. As an entrepreneur, David has negotiated contracts and deals with over one hundred companies, ranging from SMBs to Fortune 50. Apps he has designed at startups have been downloaded by over 5M users. He also routinely conducts technical and business due diligence on startups for investors.
 Previously, David was a research scientist at MIT focused on Human-Computer Interaction and Autonomy, and originally specialized in AI at MIT with a dual BS/MEng in CS.
