Mikaela is a native Seattleite who spent fifteen years in HR leadership roles at local companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, PopCap Games and Redfin. In 2015 she founded uniquelyHR, providing no nonsense HR for startups. Mikaela serves on the boards of Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST) and WeCount. She's passionate about Seattle startups, inclusive culture, and coaching high potential leaders. Mikaela is the author of an upcoming book about Female Firebrands, which will be released in 2019.
